Full bathroom renovation updating outdated plumbing and finishes while keeping the existing tub. The original tile surround and old three-handle faucet system were removed, along with aging plumbing behind the walls. All water lines were upgraded to PEX for both the tub and sink, improving reliability and long-term performance.
A new cement backer board (Hardie board) was installed behind the tile to create a durable, moisture-resistant surface for the new surround.
The walls were repaired and refinished where needed, and the ceiling required scraping of failing plaster due to moisture damage, followed by recoating and repainting to restore a clean, consistent finish. New fixtures were installed to replace the outdated setup, bringing the bathroom to a more modern and functional standard while maintaining the existing layout.
