Outdoor light installation at front entry. Added new exterior light where none existed. Ran wiring through wall, installed interior switch, mounted fixture, and repaired drywall with clean finish.
Exterior light installation for a front doorway where no light was previously installed. This project included removing wood siding, running new wiring through the wall, adding exterior conduit around the joists, mounting the new light fixture, and installing a third interior light switch. The inside wall was then drywalled, patched, and painted to match for a clean finished look.

Front stoop transformation in Birmingham, AL that improved both the appearance and overall finish of the entryway. The existing steps were structurally solid but had peeling paint and uneven surfaces, so the project began with a full power wash to remove loose material and create a clean base. A leveling layer of concrete was then applied to each step to create a smooth, even surface for tile installation.
New decorative tile was installed on the treads and risers and finished with grout for a clean, cohesive look. The surrounding concrete was then painted to tie everything together. The result is a level, refreshed entry that adds visual impact while maintaining the integrity of the original structure.

1920s window repair restoring full function to an original wood sash window that had been painted shut. The window was carefully opened, and the interior was accessed to address broken and missing sash cords. New weight ropes were installed and properly connected to the existing counterweights to rebalance the window. The sash was adjusted to ensure smooth operation, then sealed with caulk and finished with paint for a clean, restored look. The window now opens and closes easily while preserving the original character of the home.

Kitchen sink area upgrade replacing an outdated, rusted sink and worn finishes with a clean, updated look. The project included removing the existing sink and plywood backsplash, installing a new tile backsplash, and fitting a new countertop cut to accommodate a modern sink and faucet. Plumbing was adjusted to support the new setup, and the original 1950s-style cabinets were repainted for a refreshed finish. The result is a more functional, updated kitchen workspace with improved durability and appearance.

Window trim restoration addressing exterior wood rot and worn finishes. Damaged trim was removed and replaced with durable PVC to prevent future rot, followed by sealing with caulk for a tight, weather-resistant finish. The window and trim were then prepped and painted, with assistance in selecting a color that complements the home’s exterior.

Ceiling drywall repair following water damage from a bathroom leak above. The existing drywall had softened and begun to fail, so all damaged material was removed to prevent further issues. The ceiling was then reinforced with additional fasteners to secure it properly, followed by installation of new drywall. The area was finished with mudding, sanding, and paint to match the existing ceiling.

Bathroom vanity and sink replacement to update a chipped and worn fixture. The existing sink and vanity were removed, and a new vanity, sink, and faucet were installed. Plumbing connections were adjusted to fit the new setup and ensure proper function.

Full bathroom renovation updating outdated plumbing and finishes while keeping the existing tub. The original tile surround and old three-handle faucet system were removed, along with aging plumbing behind the walls. All water lines were upgraded to PEX for both the tub and sink, improving reliability and long-term performance.
A new cement backer board (Hardie board) was installed behind the tile to create a durable, moisture-resistant surface for the new surround.
The walls were repaired and refinished where needed, and the ceiling required scraping of failing plaster due to moisture damage, followed by recoating and repainting to restore a clean, consistent finish. New fixtures were installed to replace the outdated setup, bringing the bathroom to a more modern and functional standard while maintaining the existing layout.

A new ceiling-mounted electrical box rated to support a fan was installed, allowing for a permanent fixture. Wiring was run to the entryway to add a dedicated wall switch for convenient control. The wall was then patched and painted to match, and the fixture was installed with a remote for additional functionality.
